WIX is ending the Shared Gallery as of May 4, 2025

Unfortunately, WIX is ending the support for the shared gallery app which we are using for the GET DUSTY upload. The alternative they offer is an ugly file upload app that doesn't allow adding a description. We are currently testing out alternatives. Stay tuned!

PGE Annual General Meeting 2025

Dear members, it is March and time for our Annual General Meeting AGM. It will be held in a Zoom meeting room on Sunday 16/03 at 7pm (GMT), 20:00 h (CET). The assembly will be presented with the activity report and the financial report for 2024 and the activity plan for 2025. It will also elect the PGE board members and the chair of the board. The meeting room will open 30 minutes before the start of the AGM, so you can get acquainted with Zoom if you haven’t used it before.

The PGE board would greatly appreciate a higher attendance than last year. Join us and meet the board and fellow PGE members.

Dear Dot and dear Deborah!

I just found your posts here and I´m sorry to saw them not earlier. The board is very busy to manage the open online competition DUST OFF completly with 24 certificates, emails and posts. Also the recent Get Dusty is running....

If you don´t see the box for DESCRIPTION, then click on the 3 little dots on the right side. Click on EDIT DESCRIPTION and add your text. Every time I move the uploads into the recent gallery I´m checking the description and the comments. If there is something unclear, then I´ll email to the member. I hope we will not have more problems with the website.

Please text me if I can help!

Best regards, Dolores Saul PGE board member

Introducing Myself

Hello everyone I hope you are all well. I've been an Associate Member for almost a year now having joined in January. I thought it was finally time to introduce myself. I'm a little in awe of the talent here - hence my shyness. I'm a self taught dabbler tying to improve as I go. I took early retirement a couple of years ago & pastels have become a little bit of an obsession. I'm not sure I have any talent but I do try hard to improve. Not having much of an imagination & not being able to hold an image for long enough in my head, I tend to work from photographs (I always ask permission first). I'm rubbish with technology (so again a massive thank you to the ladies who helped me join for their patience & help at the time. My next job is to…

Introduction

Dear all,

Since a few weeks I am a proud member of the PGE. I did send an introduction for the last Scribler, but it seems that it did not work/arrive, since it is not incouded in the Scribler (my name is, but not my info ;-)). So I wanted to post it here.

Thanks for having me as a member!

Femke

My name is Femke Peters and I'm from the Netherlands. I'm 45 and just started drawing and painting, like many others, when COVID came, so four years ago now. Before that, I have never really done art making after high school. I have a busy job and never made the time but always wanted to spent more time on such a hobby for fun and the necessary relaxation.

So I am still very much a beginner and am learning as I go. On Patreon I follow Karen Margulis,…
