The first 'Four Seasons' beginner challenge is open!

The 'Four Seasons' challenge is our new challenge exclusively for beginners. The competition runs four times a year in December/January, March/April, June/July and September/October. The board will be the jury. The winner receives a certificate and a small material prize.

Who may participate?

Members who are at the beginning of their artistic journey

Who may not participate?

Journeyer members and all Associate members who are not beginners. If you sell your work, exhibit, teach, publish, have won awards, please abscond from entering.

We hope that this new challenge will be an incentive for all budding artists amoung our members.

The 'Four Seasons' winter challenge is now open. It runs until

January 25, 2026. Deadline is Midnight CET.

Every participant may enter two paintings in the 'Four seasons' forum group. 

You can choose the category - portrait/figure, landscape, stilllife/floral or animal, but there has to be a clear connection with WINTER.
